Born Jan. 22, 1901, in Mansfield Township, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Brady Smith. She had lived in Hackettstown all her life.
Mrs. Hendershot was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, Hackettstown; the Women's Society of Christian Service of the church, and the Hackettstown Senior Citizens Club.
Her husband, Austin Hendershot, died in 1968.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Gladys Gillard, Union, NJ.
