Warfel

Services for Daniel Fred Warfel, 69, will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Imschweller-Brower Funeral Home, 1600 Edgemont Ave., Chester. Burial will be in Chester Rural Cemetery, Chester.

Calling hours will be this evening at the funeral home.

Mr. Warfel, who retired in 1957 as a textile printer for the Eddystone Print Works where he was employed for 43 years, died Monday at his home, 118 Meadowburn Lane, High Meadow, Middletown.

He was born in Columbia and had lived most of his life in Delaware County for the past 14 years in High Meadow. He was a member of the Machine Printers Benevolent Association.

Surviving are his widow, the former Jennie McNatt; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret J. Wagner of Anderson, S.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Bryant of Woodlyn, Ridley Township, Mrs. Minnie Hansell of Norwood and Mrs. Mary Bibb of Sharon Hill; two brothers , Harry of Eddystone and Louis of Norwood, and a grandson.
