Ausbun H. Stubbs, 62, of 4720 Brighton Ave., Ocean Beach, a World War I veteran, died Wednesday in the Naval Hospital. Funeral arrangements are pending at Bonham Brothers Mortuary.
Born in Alabama, Mr. Stubbs moved to San Diego in 1929. He was employed as a machinist at the Naval Air Station. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nora L. Stubbs, of the Ocean Beach address; a brother, Russell A. Stubbs, of San Bernadino, and three sisters, Mrs. Annie G. Hardwick and Mrs. Queenie Lawley, both of Birmingham, Ala., and Mrs. Vera O. Brown, of Manilla, P.I.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Bonham Brothers Mortuary for Ausbun H. Stubbs, 62, of 4720 Brighton Ave., Ocean Beach, who died Wednesday in a local hospital.
Burial will be in Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery. He retired 2 months ago after 30 years Federal Civil Service employment.
