Lonnie Blair Dies of Heart Attack

Lonnie Earl Blair, 65, Route Two, Wagoner, died Tuesday in the Wagoner Hospital following a heart attack.
A prominent and award - winning farmer - stockman here since 1919, Blair was born November 4, 1903, in Love County, Oklahoma. He was a charter member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Wagoner and had been a IOOF Lodge member for more the 35 years.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30p.m. in Immanuel Baptist Church with the pastor, Reverend J.C. Highfill, officiating, assisted by Reverend Larry Lashley, Pastor of the Okay Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery under direction of Hersman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be John Lamon, Lee Harvey, Earl Tacker, John Carter, W.A. Thieleke and Leslie Binson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald S. Allen, Curtis Dye, Clarance Faulconer, Elmer White, Dan Robertson, Owen Dugger, John E Johnson, W.W. Van Noy, and Bryan Cole.
Blair is survived by his wife Della Mae of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Luceil Dobson of Tulsa and Mrs. Rebekah Mae Cobb and Mrs. Patsy Lou Harris, both of Wagoner; six sons, Donald E. and Leon, both of Wagoner, Lawrence of Mounds City, Kansas, Allen of Owasso, Russell of Muskogee, and Kenneth Ray of Guthrie Center, Iowa; 30 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three sister, Mrs. Lena Johnston of Wagoner, Mrs. Lela Powell of Sand Springs and Mrs. Helen Brown of Red Oak, Oklahoma.
