Mrs. Harry Altemus
Mrs. Sadie R. Altemus, 86, formerly of Bangor R.D. 2 and Belfast, died yesterday at Gracedale, where she had been a guest since September 1966.
Born Oct. 22, 1890, in Easton, she was a daughter of the late William and Ella Young Reigel.
Mrs. Altemus had been married three times, and was preceded in death by her husbands, William Bougher, Milton Rasley and Harry Altemus.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond, of California, and Alvin, Oxford; five daughters, Mrs. Florence Davis, Mrs. Amy Krantz, Mrs. Olive Purdy, Mrs. Meredith Hahn and Mrs. Beulah Bean, all of Easton; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Four children preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Schmidt Mortuary, Nazareth. Interment will be in Belfast Union Cemetery, Plainfield Township.
