She was born September 6, 1880 near this city, one of six daughters and four sons of John and Mary Hughes Lukins. She had spent most of her life here. On February 26, 1903 she was married to Harry C. Gring in this city. Survivors are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Greeta Watson, Lakeland FL; a son, John L. of Homewood; two sisters: Mrs. Minnie Scott, Sioux Falls SD; and Mrs. Ida Brooks of this city; a brother, Elbert Lukins of Riverside CA; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Three sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
Casket bearers were Gerald Collins, Roger Curtis, Lott C. Howe, Ray McCord, Ralph Moreland and O. A. Peithman. Flower bearers were Mrs. Grace Dafoe, Mrs. Grace French, Miss Ruth Hoffman, Mrs. Flossie Massock, Mrs. Hazel Peterson and Mrs. Ed Webster.
