Obituary for George S. Cramer from the Weekly Home New/Home News in Spring Green Wisconsin. December 1, 1892

Death of George Cramer.
Geroge S. G. Cramer, well known in Spring Green, died at this home in Plain on Friday last, Novermber 25th, and was buried at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery on Monday. The funeral services which took place at the home, was conducted by Rev. A. A. Loomis, of this village, and was attended by a large concourse of relatives and friends of the deceased from near and far. George's mother passed from earth ten years ago, and he is the fourth one of the family to succumb to disease within the past three years - two girls and two boys, all grown to man and womanhood.

He contracted a severe cold last spring while working at the carpenter business in Spring Green with his brother P. W. Cramer, since which time he had not been able to work, and in mid summer returned to his home at Plain, growing gradually worse, until Friday at 11:30 he was relieved from his sufferings.

George Cramer was born at Plain, April 4th 1866, and had always lived at the birthplace with the exception of the time spent in Spring Green. He was a young man of sterling character, doing what he believed to be the right thing under all circumstances, and was unswerving in the directions.

There is left of this family the aged father, three boys and one girl younger than deceased, and a brother next older, who have the sypmathy of all in their great affliction. The members of the family wish through the Home News to thank their neighbors and all those who have done so much to comfort them by word and action during these trials.
