Medina Co. Gazette - Johanna Regina Morlock (nee Otterbacher) was born June 19, 1849, in Liverpool township. In infancy by baptism she became a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church of Valley city, to which church she adhered faithfully to her end. ON Nov 2, 1869, she married George Ludwig Morlock, with whom she lived happily for 53 years. After a short illness she passed away on Sunday morning. July 8, and she was buried in St Paul's cemetery, July 10. She arrived at the good old age of 79 years and 19 days.
She leaves to mourn her departure her children, John, Mrs. Emma Otto, Mrs. Elizabeth Spieth, Mrs. Rose Dobson, Mrs. Caherine Haring, Mrs. Martha Bauer, Karl, Herman and Chirs, Mrs. Ella Zacharias. He third child, George, preceded her into eternity. She leaves also her brother, Chris Otterbacher and her sister, Mrs. John Morlock, 28 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
