In Baltimore 62 Years
Oldest of the inmates of the Aged Mens' Home at Calhoun and Lexington Streets, Delaware C. Thomas died last night at the age of 102. Mr Thomas was born in Norfolk, Virginia, May 23, 1821. He began his business career as a bookkeeper. At the age of 40, he came to Baltimore. He continued to work as a bookkeeper in Baltimore, but also spent some time on a farm near West River, Maryland. He entered the Aged Mens' Home more than 21 years ago, on March 27, 1902. He is survived by two sons, one of them 61 years old, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
