Annie Mary Felton Eure, 86, a native of Gates County, died January 25, 2003, in Down East Health and Rehab, Gatesville. She was the widow of Woodie R. Eure.
A funeral was conducted Monday in Eure Christian Church by the Rev. Wayne Gardner and the Rev. Doug Stokes. Burial was in the church cemetary. Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, was in charge. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to Eure Christian Church or to the Gates County Rescue Squad. Mrs. Eure was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Pat Toxey of Gatesville; a son, Ritchie Eure of Eure; a sister, Irene Worrell and a brother, Harrell Felton, both of Eure; five grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
