Patricia Ann Kingscott Hamilton

Aged 80 passed away June 7, 2006 following a sudden illness. She was born in Owosso, MI on September 25, 1925. Pat was a proud graduate of Western Michigan, worked as a teacher's aide at Bertha Robinson School and worked at Aeorquip Corporation until her retirement in 1989. She then volunteered as a mentor at Allen School. She loved kids. Pat was an active member of the American Business Women's Association, Apollo Chapter, Women's Club of Jackson and Circle of Friends Club. She enjoyed working elections in Leoni Township as well as getting reacquainted with treasured friends, traveling, taking in stage shows and of course, working in her garden. Pat most loved seeing her grandchildren grow up and go to college, as well as spending time with her many friends and adding to her large bear collection. She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence (Kopkau), her father, Alonzo Kingscott and her son Scott Christopher Hamilton. Surviving are her children, Steve Hamilton of Dubuque, IA and daughter, Sandy (Kevin) Taylor of Jackson; her grandchildren, Linsey Hamilton of Minnesota, Zak Hamilton of Colorado and Toby Taylor of Kalamazoo. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at the funeral home Sunday, June 11, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Apollo Chapter (ABWA) Scholarship Fund or a charity of your choice.
