Wife of Dorian Coogan

COOGAN, ANNA Passed away at her home in Hemet on June 30, 2005. She was the daughter of Nick Bozanich and Sophie Rajacich born on March 22, 1922 in Chisholm, Minnesota. After graduating Chisholm High School in 1941, Anna moved to Chicago and graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1944 form Grand Hospital School of Nursing.
She was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Army Air Corps and served on active duty as a flight nurse and First Lieutenant until 1946.
She met Frank Johnson, a WWII pilot and they were married in Boca Raton, Florida the same year. Tragically, within a year, Frank was killed during an Air Force training mission.
In 1953 Anna Married Dorian Coogan and they settled in Whittier, CA. They later moved to Hemet in the early 1980's where Anna resided until her passing. Dorian died in 1988 and was buried in the Riverside National Cemetery where Anna's remains will also be placed next to his. Anna is predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Alec and Gordon Bozanich. She is survived by her sister Amelia Gutherie of Rockford, IL. Anna's life was one of high vitality, always projecting enthusiasm and friendliness and passed that on to every life she touched.
