Angus E. Alexander, democratic nominee for county attorney died of typhoid fever. He was the son of Capt. and Mrs. A.C. Alexander, the latter a daughter of the late L.E. Griffith of this city. He was born at Grand Ecore, Louisiana November 16, 1969. His parents moved from there to Sabine Pass, Texas in 1872 and later to Houston. In 1877, his parents moved to Terrell. He leaves a wife, Mrs. Addye C. Alexander, daughter of Col. and Mrs. Middleton Stuart and an infant child. They married June 14, 1898 in this city. Interment in the city cemetery.
