Eva Newman Churchill, 69, daughter of Ellensburg pioneers Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Stickney, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, in Snohomish. She was born in Ellensburg on Dec. 16, 1906 and lived here most of her early life. Most recently she has lived in Snohomish.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was proceeded in death by her first husband, John Newman, two brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include her husband, James Churchill, at the family home in Snohomish; one daughter, Mrs. Pete Fadeff of Snohomish; one sister, Mrs. William Grimm of Puyallup; one brother, Fred Stickney of Puyallup and two brothers-in-law, Harvey Besaw and Ralph Kinkade, both of Ellensburg.
Funeral services were Friday, Dec. 19, in Snohomish with the Goldenrod Chapter, No. 22, Order of the Eastern Star officiating.
