Born Dec. 4,1896, in Marshal County,
she was the daughter of Adriel M. and
Amanda M. Wise Warren. She was
married Sept. 1, 1938, in Winimac, to
Edward Altum, who died Nov. 27, 1953.
She was a member of the Church of
the Nazerene, the American Legion
Auxiliary and the Daughters of the
American Revolution.
Surviving are three sons, Joseph A.
Medburn, Flora; Fred S. Medburn,
Delphi; and Leo B. Medburn, Logansport;
one daughter, Violet H. Swartz,
Villa Park, Ill.; five brothers, Leo W.,
Culver , James, Gas City ; and Hershel,
Stephen and Eddie, all of South Bend,
one sister , Dessie Boeksma,
Rochester; 14 grandchildren and 21
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday.
Burial was in the Mount Hope
Cemetery, Logansport.
