A telegram was received in the city today, which announced the death of Mrs. Minnie Neff Ayers, wife of A.W. Ayers of Race street, which took place at Los Angeles, Cal., presumably last night. Mrs. Ayers and husband went to Los Angeles about two months ago in the hopes of improving the health of the former, but her decline was rapid, and death ensued as stated above. The remains will be brought to this city for burial. The husband, N.W. [sic] Ayers, is an employee of the city electric light department. (Logansport Daily Reporter, April 12, 1904)
