Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home Manitowoc. The Rev. Gervase J. Zanotti will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Teitgen, nee Mathilda Strupp, was born Nov. 25, 1887, in the Town of Newton, daughter of the late Peter and Theresa Roedig Strupp. She was a Manitowoc resident all her life. She was married to Dr. Arthur A. Teitgen Feb. 23, 1908 in the Town of Newton. He preceded her in death in 1957. She was a member of Women’s Benefit Assn.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law. Chester and Carmella Teitgen of Little Neck, Long Island, New York; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Mildred Teitgen, of Manitowoc; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A son, Dr. Theodore Teitgen, preceded her in death in 1974. Four brothers and a sister
also preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday until the time of service. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
