Ruth Hazel (Case) Brock Claycomb was the daughter of James Jackson and Eva (Clayborn) Case, she grew up in Indianola and lived in McAlester and Wyoming most of her adult life. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling and spending the winters in Arizona. Survivors include brother and sister-in-law, J.D. and Charlene Case, of McAlester; one aunt, Rachel Cunningham, of Oregon, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Patterson; parents, James Jackson and Eva Clayborn Case; a sister, Ruby Lee Boatner, and two brothers, Lawrence M. Case and Willard Case. Graveside services will be Monday, March 9, at 10 a.m. at North McAlester Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Brannon officiating. Burial will be at North McAlester Cemetery under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.
