Gildia Alderman, 80 Years Old, Dies
Gildia Newton Alderman, 80 years old, a former carpenter and farmer, died at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon in Freeman hospital, where he had been a patient since December 9. He had been in ill health the last five years. Mr. Alderman was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Surviving are three sons, Albion N. Alderman 1802 Moffet avenue, Irwin R. Alderman, Twenty-seventh street and Willard avenue, and Harold W. Alderman, 3204 East Thirteenth street; a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Scott of the home, and 12 grand-children. The body was received by the Thornhill Dillon mortuary.
