East Corinth, October 21, 1951 – Harry W. Easler, 72, died this morning in a Bangor hospital after a long illness. He was born in Washburn March 9, 1879, son of Silas and Elizabeth (Tompkins) Easler and moved to Corinth 17 years ago.

Mr. Easler was a member of Corinthian Lodge No. 59, I.O.O.F. of Corinth, Olive Branch Lodge #124, A. F. & A. M. of Charleston and the Encampment at Fort Fairfield and the Canton and Knights of Pythias of Presque Isle.

Besides his wife, Helen (Erskine) Easler, he is survived by one daughter, Hazel Larlee of Loudon, NH; one son Vaughn of East Corinth; one sister, Adeline Flewelling of Hinkley; three brothers, Elijah and Silas of Skowhegan and Roy of Washburn; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church in East Corinth. Friends may ball at the Williams Funeral Home in Bradford before the service. Burial will be in the Corinthian Cemetery in Corinth.
