Charles Albert McKim, 46, of 397 Cambridge St., died at 1:27 a.m. today (Dec. 17, 1979) at Guernsey Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 21, 1933, in Cambridge, son of Roy E. McKim and the late Eva Dyer McKim. He was retired from NCR Corp. and was a member of Beckett Avenue United Methodist Church, Concord Masonic Lodge 688, Scottish Rite Valley of Cambridge, Concordia Chapter 493 Order of Eastern Star and United Commercial Travelers. He served on the board of Guernsey Residential Inc. and on the Guernsey county Board of Mental Retardation's workshop board.
In addition to his father, Mr. McKim leaves his wife the former Dorothy Jane Slasor; four children, Joan, Kenneth, Deborah and Robyn, all of the home; and two brothers, Larry and Don, both of Cambridge.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Scott-Atkinson Funeral home where services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Arthur Williams. Burial will be in North Salem Community Cemetery.
