Mrs. Audrey P. Davis, age 84, of Waldron, passed away Monday, March 9, 2009 in Waldron.
She was born February 14, 1925 in Allen, Texas to the late Avery Joe Jarrell and the late Lillie May Croy Jarrell. She was united in marriage to the late Samuel J. Davis. She was a homemaker and was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
She is survived by:
Son: Jack Murphrey of Waldron, Arkansas
Daughters: Sue Hutchinson of Gainesville, Texas Dianne Evans and husband Tom of Waldron, Arkansas
12 grandchildren 7 great-grandchildren 1 brother 2 sisters
She was preceded in death by her parents, Avery and Lillie Jarrell, her husband, Samuel Davis, a daughter, Carol Jan Murphrey, and 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery at Big Fork with Brother Bill Bates officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Bobby White, Tom Evans, Devin Sims, Brad Evans, Shane Woodrum, and Beth Millgan.
