Betty L. Forer, 89, of Cranbury passed away Thursday at home. Born in Canton, PA, she came to New Jersey in 1958, to Cranbury. Mrs. Forer retired from IBM after 15 years of service. Previously, she had worked for various doctors' offices in Hightstown and at Sunlawn Nursing Home. She was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church of Hightstown and a member of the United Methodist Women's Organization and the Church Women United of Cranbury. Mrs. Forer served for several years as the lay delegate to the Annual United Methodist Church Conference. She also volunteered at University Medical Center at Princeton for over 20 years until 2001. Mother of the late Donna Louise Forer, she is survived by her husband, Donald L. Forer; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Diane Forer, and Douglas and Nancy Forer; one sister, Shirley Marmas; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
