Michael C. Hurren passed away Sunday, January 14, 2001, in an airplane accident.

He was born in Logan, Utah on August 26, 1949 to Sidney Follet Hurren and Jenness Fulkerson Hurren. He was educated in Cache Valley Schools. Graduated from Sky View High School and attended Utah State University. He married Cheryl Porter. They were later divorced. He married Gayle Taylor in 1985. Gayle was the rock in Mike's life for 15 years. He owned or co-owned various skydiving businesses for approximately 30 years. Not many of us in life are able to work and make a living at something they thoroughly love. Mike was one of those people. His hobbies beyond skydiving were horses, basketball and golf.
