Weltha V. Mathieson, Silverton, Oregon, 80, 423 S. First died Saturday at Silverton Hospital. Born in Victory, Wisconsin, she came to Silverton in 1937 from Philip, South Dakota. She & her husband farmed until 1967 when they retired & moved into town. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Royal Neighbors & Eastern Star.
Survivors include daughter, Sheila Crites, Silverton; son Kenneth, Lebanon; sisters, Grace Meaghers, Hardwick, Minnesota, Margaret Baldwin & Inez Hart, both of Madison, Wisconsin, Alice Klimkavich, Fresno, Calif. & Bernice Standiford, Moses Lake, Washington; six grandchildren & six great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2pm Wednesday at Unger mortuary. Interment will be at Belcrest Memorial Park, Salem, Oregon.
