He was born in Nankin, Michigan the son of John J. and Dorothy Lucille (Granger) Jajuga. He was a Factor IX deficient Hemophiliac. He married Esther Patricia Davis on November 10, 1956. She was the daughter of Harry and Bernice Davis.
In addition to his wife of 52 years, James is survived by his two sons: James H. (Ruby) Jajuga of Flat Rock, Edward A. Jajuga of South Rockwood; a brother John J. (Shelby) Jajuga of Pinckney, Michigan and a sister Marie Mischo of Cedar City, Utah. He is also survived by grandchildren: Holly (Jerry) Finn, and Renee (Clinton) Uchtorff.
Funeral services were on December 21, 2008 at Martenson Funeral Home - Ford Chapel, Rockwood, Michigan.
