Edgar A. Loveland, 69, of Wilmington, died Monday (April 2,2001) in Kankakee.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the noon services at the Preitag Funeral Home,
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 7, 1932, in Sumner Township, the son of Amos and Mamie Peno Loveland. His parents are deceased.

Surviving are his wife, the former Irene Cohoon; six children, George Good of Wilmington,
Roger (Kim) of Minooka, David (Pam) of Essex, James (Patricia) of Braidwood, Richard (Kim) of Wilmington, Vaterie (Rick) Dunn of Godley; 21 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe and Melvin Loveland; four sisters, Sadie Carmen, Mary Pembertoa, Joyce Beasley, Melody Dennis; and several nieces and nephews.

One son, Edgar Lee Loveland; one grandson, Ricky Dunn; and one brother, Amos Loveland Jr., are deceased.
Mr. Loveland was a former employee of the Joliet Arsenal and retired from Celotex Mill after 21 years of service.
