ELOY - Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p m
Thursday at the Valley Funeral Home chapel for Mrs.
Bertie Gunkle, 705 N. 'D' St., who died Tuesday at
Final General Hospital, Florence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel
The Rev. George Lewis will officiate Burial will be in
Eloy Memorial Park.
Mrs. Gunkle was born Feb 9, 1909 in Minco. Okla
She had lived in the area 39 years She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her sons, Joe Gunkle of Coolege
Fred, Don, Sam and Gerald Gunkle, all of Eloy
her daughters, Glenda Martinez, Eloy, Ethel Williams,
California, and Lou Ella Brewer, Tennessee.
Other survivors are her brothers, Eddie of California,
Roy of Marana, Homer of Eloy and Samuel Sylvester,
Florence; her sister, Ethel Temper of California
; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
