He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Mae F. Barden; son, Cridlin James Barden Jr. and his wife, Nancy; daughters, Patricia Lipscomb and Linda Barden; brother, Floyd Barden; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mr. Barden was a retiree of E.I. DuPont with 40 years of service, Nomex Division.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10). A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday in Dale Memorial Park.
