SIDNEY ALLEN RUDD, 24, of 520 Magnolia Road, Summerville, were held at 4 p.m. yesterday at Limestone Baptist Church Cemetery at Dorchester, with the Rev. James Alverson officiating. Burial was directed by James A. Dyal Funeral Home of Summerville.
Mr. RUDD was killed in an automobile - train collision early Saturday morning on Remount Rd.
Mr. RUDD was born Feb. 28, 1942, in Dorchester County, a son of Annie MALLARD RUDD and the late Clemmie RUDD. He was educated in the schools of Harleyville and was employed by Jacksonville Naval Shipyard in Charleston.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are three brothers, Robbie RUDD of Dorchester, Marion RUDD of Harleyville and John Henry RUDD of Holly Hill; three sisters, Miss Arlene RUDD of Summerville, Mrs. Richard INFINGER and Mrs. Lewis MIZZELL of Harleyville; several aunts and uncles; and a number of nieces and nephews.
