Harleyville, Dec. 24 — CLEMMIE RUDD, 59, farmer, died this afternoon at the Dorchester County Hospital at Summerville after a heart attack.
A lifelong resident of Harleyville community, he was a member of the Limestone Baptist Church near Dorchester.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. ANNIE MALLARD RUDD of Harleyville; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Jean MIZELL of Dorchester and Misses Mellie Mae and Arleen RUDD of Harleyville; four sons, Robbie, John Henry, Marion and Sidney, all of Harleyville; one sister, Mrs. Ella RISHER of Charleston; and three brothers, Willie and Wesley of Dorchester and Johnnie of Holly Hill.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 Saturday afternoon from Limestone Baptist Church by the Rev. Hollis Bonds. Burial will be in the churchyard.
