"Mrs. Schamberg Dies in 77th Year
Mrs. Theresa M. Schamberg, 77, widow of William B. Schamberg who died in 1922 died this morning in Vassar Hospital. She had been receiving treatment there the last three weeks for a heart ailment.
Mrs. Schamberg had resided the last 13 years with her daughter, Mrs. William J. Beal, Dutchess turnpike, and suffered a heart seizure wihile visiting at the home of her son, Bernard G. Schamberg, Hyde Park, three weeks ago.
Born in New York City, April 1, 1869, Mrs. Schamberg was the daughter of the late Valentine and Clemetine Trinter. She had resided here practially all of her life and had been a member of the Rosary Society and of the St. Elizabeth Society of the Church of the Nativity.
Surviving, in addition to her daughter are two sons, Edward E. Schamberg, here and Bernard G. in Hyde Park; three sisters, Mrs. Emil Herles and Mrs. Frances Spiegel, here and Sister Alma of the Josephhenum Academy, Chicago, and seven grandchildren, Arlene Beal, Janet and Edward Schamberg, here, William, Richard and Robert Schamberg, Hyde Park, and Jean Kennedy, Washington, D.C.
Funeral services will be conducted at the William G. Miller Funeral Home, 310 Mill Street, at 9 o'clock, Tuesday and at Holy Trinity Church, Arlington, at 9:30 o'clock, where a Mass of Requiem will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home."
