MOORE, IDAHO
Funeral services for Alburn Rowley Babcock, 75, a prominent Idaho cattleman, will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Lost River Latter-day Saints Stake Tabernacle at Moore.
BABCOCK DIED Monday in a Salt Lake City hospital after an illness of several months due to a heart condition. He was former president of the Idaho Cattlemen's Assn., and at the time of his death was a member of the President's Advisory Board for Grazing and Reclamation. He also was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having served in the Lost River Stake High Council.
HE WAS BORN January 26, 1884 at Spanish Fork, Utah. He married Maude Wilson December 12, 1912.
He came to Idaho at an early age and ranched in the Lost River country more than 50 years.
Surviving are his widow and a son, Milton Rowley Babcock of Ogden, Utah.
Burial will be in the Moore Cemetery
