Wilma Beulah Adams, 97, died Feb. 24, 2004, at her home in Dexter, MO.
Born Nov. 4, 1906, in Parma, daughter of the late Walter E. and Lelie Smith Howell, she was a member of the Bernie Nazarene Church.
On Feb. 16, 1924, at Piggott, AR, she married William Oades Adams who preceded her in death on Jan. 7, 1994.
Survivors include: two sons, William Bud Adams, and Marvin Adams; two daughters, Welta Young and Martha Hampton; four sisters, Mary Davis, Willie Carlsen, Dorothy Botsch and Opal Rodgers; and nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Rubert Howell, Rueben Howell and Jack Howell; and three sisters, Virginia Smith, Ruth Faulkner and Gladys Smith.
Visitation was held at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, where services were conducted. The Rev. Don Wells officiated.
Burial followed in the Bernie Cemetery.
