William Kenneth "Ken" Starr 76 of Pataskala, Ohio passed away December 13, 2008 at his home surrounded by family.

Ken was born September 22, 1932 in Greendale, Ohio to William and Florence Spires Starr.

Mr. Starr graduated from New Straitsville High School in 1950. He was retired from AT&T after 31 years and the Kroger Co. after 32 years. He had also worked for Clay Craft Brick Company for 11 years.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Delores Beougher Starr; sons, Curt (Penny) Starr and Jon Starr; daughters, Kendra (Denny) Shull,Karla Hamner and Lander (Mark) Holdrieth; nine grandchildren, Chad (Tina) Shull, Danielle (Edward) Smith, Kacie (John) Lewter, Emily Starr (Donnie Owen), Amy (Brian) Cyrus, Joshua (Elizabeth) Hamner, Eric Hamner, Willie Starr and Whitney Holdrieth; sixteen great-grandchildren; Leo (Renie) Srarr; sisters, Janice (Jon) Alldery and Patty(Gerald) Dickerson; brother-in-law, Louis Hamilton; sister-in-law. Connie Starr; many nieces and nephews.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Eddie Starr and sister Betty Hamilton.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 am Tuesday December 16, 2008 at the Heinleim-Brown Funeral Home Logan, Ohio with pastor Bruce Morrison officating.

Burial was in Fairview Cemetery Rockbridge, Ohio. Calling hours were observed Monday December 15, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m..
