Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant View Church of the Brethren for Harry Alva Leedy, 92, formerly of 407 N. West St. He died at 8:22 a.m. Monday at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 29, 1891, in Allen County, the son of Jacob and Christina Miller Leedy. On Nov. 8, 1913, he married Alice Bridges, who survives.
Mr. Leedy was a retired farmer in Allen County and also been an interior decorator. He was a member of Pleasant View Church of the Brethren.
Survivors also include four sons, Merle J. Leedy of Lima, Herman Leedy of Melbourne, Fla., Roger Leedy of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Donald Leedy of Elyria; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Rev. John Mummert will officiate for the services. Burial will be in Lewis Grove Cemetery.
