TYPHOID IS FATAL TO BEND RESIDENT
Everett E. Archibald, 38 years of age, died at his home on 426 Hill street Saturday from complications resulting from typhoid fever. Archibald who is survived by a wife and three children in this city, has lived here since last summer. The body will be shipped to Albany Tuesday for burial.

Wife and Three Children Survive Bend Man Who died Here of Typhoid Fever Complications

The body of Everett E. Archibald who died at his home on 426 Hill street Saturday from typhoid fever complications, will be shipped to Albany, this evening for burial Wednesday afternoon. Archibald, who was 35 years old at the time of his death, is survived by a wife and three children, Mary Frances, aged five; Edwin, aged two, and Kenneth, a baby two months old. At the time of his death Archibald, who has lived in Bend for about seven months, was a member of the local Exide Battery Co., and was formerly in the garage business in Albany. He was born in Linn county and has lived in Oregon all his life.
Archibald is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Laura Archibald of Albany, who arrived in Bend Sunday. Mrs. Archibald's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.M. Fletcher of Coburg, and a brother, W.C. Fletcher of Albany have also arrived in Bend. W.A. Terhune, also a relative of Archibald and an employe of the Southern Pacific Company, is in Bend.
Mrs. Archibald and family are going to move to Coburg, where they will make their home with Mrs. Archibald's parents. Mrs Archibald is leaving Bend this evening, but will return in a few weeks to attend to business matters.
