Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, December 28, 1989 at Pleasant View Bible Church in Aurora. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: LeRoy Benson

LeRoy Alfred Benson, the son of Fred and Selma (Peterson) Benson, was born at Hordville, Nebraska, on May 4, 1907, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on December 24, 1989, at the age of 82 years, 7 months, and 20 days.

He grew up and attended school at Hordville and farmed in the Hordville and Polk communities.

On June 1, 1933, he was united in marriage to Ellen Johnson at Hordville. They moved to Omaha in 1937, where he was employed by Roberts Dairy, and later he held several positions with the Greyhound Bus Lines for 27 years, retiring in 1969. He was also a salesman for the Curt-Ralston Company for many years.

Roy was a member of the Pleasant View Bible Church in Aurora.

They moved to their present home in Aurora in 1974.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and 2 sisters.

Roy is survived by his wife Ellen of Aurora, one niece and 5 nephews.
