Lora V. (Harbolt) Guntrip, 74, of LaPorte, relative of area residents, died at 1:20 PM Sunday, June 25, 2000, in St. Vincent's Hospital of Indianapolis. She was born Feb. 4, 1926, in Benton County, and had formerly resided in Logansport. On June 18, 1955, she married William M. Guntrip in Francesville, and he died Dec. 8, 1995. Mrs. Guntrip was a member of Agape Christian Church of LaPorte and a former member of Foursquare Gospel Church of Logansport.

Surviving are three sons, Kenneth W. Atkinson (wife Sheila) of Lafyette; Stephen F. Atkinson (wife Vickki) of Logansport and Thomas R. Atkinson of LaPorte; three brothers, Alfred Harbolt, Jr. (wife Anita) and Alan D. Harbolt (wife Betty), both of Lafayette; and Dennis Harbolt (wife Patty) of Frankfort; two sisters, Donna Payne of Warsaw, MO, and Marilyn Polley of Lafayette; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Memorial service June 29 at Kroeger Funeral Home, Logansport, the Rev. Sharol Eaker officiating; burial at Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
