Michael Glen Heathman, 79, of Salt Lake City, Utah, died Aug. 30, 2002.
He grew up in Wenatchee, later living in numerous other states and returning to Seattle in 1980. He had worked for General Motors for 37 years, retiring in 1984 and moving to Leavenworth. He moved to Salt Lake City in 1999.
Survivors include his wife, "Betty" Charlotte Heathman; six children, Christine Heathman of Spanish Fork, Utah, Stephanie Tinsley of Kennewick, Harry Heathman of Seattle, Kimberly Heathman of San Diego, Calif., Kelly Heathman of Federal Way and Shana Malsch of Kirkland; and a sister, Dorothy Heathman-Stone of Bremerton. Graveside services were held Sept. 7 at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Kent.
