Dorothy Hamblin Greene, 84, of Little Creek, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 1994, in Birdmont Health Care Center.

Born in Bland County, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Olie Millirons Hamblin.

Surviving are one son, Allen Meadows of Little Creek; five step-sons, Trenton Meadows of Bland, Vinson Meadows of Little Creek, Paul Greene of Fleetwood, N.C., Roscoe Greene of Lenoir, N.C., and Midas Greene of Montross; four stepdaughters, Vergie Lovejoy and Alma Hamby, both of Lenoir, N.C., Bertha Shivley of Deep Gap, N.C., and Elizabeth Albert of Wytheville; one sister, Leona Chewing of Pulaski; one brother, Ernest Hamblin of Front Royal; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be 4 p.m. Friday at the Newberry Funeral Home, Bland, with the Rev. Timmy Williams officiating.

Burial will follow in the Goshen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Newberry Funeral Home, Bland.

Newberry Funeral Home, Bland, is in charge of arrangements.
