DAVENPORT, Wash., - Nov 2 - J. S. Croswell, 28 years old, was killed at Roe's sawmill, 12 miles northeast of Davenport, last Thursday afternoon by the accidental rolling of a log over him, breaking his neck. The funeral will be held in Medical Lake tomorrow.
Young Croswell was 28 years old the day he was killed. He was a brother-in-law of Mr. Roe, who owns the mill where he was killed. Croswell was not married.

James R. Croswell, Killed in Accident, Buried at Medical Lake
James R. Croswell, who was killed last week by being struck by a rolling log at the sawmill of George Raes, 60 miles west of Spokane, died on his 28th birthday. He was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Croswell, E 2018 Riverton avenue. He came here with his parents from Canada 10 years ago. He was buried at the Medical Lake cemetery Sunday.
