Willie Lee Allen was born March 12, 1939 in Delta Point, Louisiana, to Alma Conway Allen and John Allen, Sr.

On April 5, 1960 Willie L. Allen united in matrimony to Ola Bell Hornsby, this precious union lasted 37 years.


Willie Lee Allen enjoyed working as a Skycap at McCarran Internation Airport in Las Vegas, NV, he was a longtime resident of North Las Vegas.

He is preceeded in death by his parents Alama Conway Allen and John Allen Sr., sister Juanita M. Allen-Clay

He is survived by his wife, Ola; daughters, Nita Paige, Tonia Parker and Theresa Allen; sons, Howard Hornsby, Max Allen and Willie Allen Jr.; and brothers, John Allen Jr. and Robert Allen, all of North Las Vegas; sisters, Herkey Scott of Las Vegas and Barbara of North Las Vegas; four uncles, Author Banks, Sylvester Banks, Charlie Banks and Jesse Allen; two aunt, Anie Watson and Lilie B Turner; 22 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and frineds.

Services were at 1 p.m. July 29, 1997 at Carver Missionary Baptist Church. Graveside services followed in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary-Downtown handled arrangements
