Samuel Walter Rudy, 86, died Saturday evening at his home at Soldier. He was born February 20, 1870, at Soldier, and had lived there all of his life.
He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Soldier Methodist Church.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Bessie Rudy of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Beulah Howard of Concordia; two sons, Ray E. Rudy of Bell Gardens, Calif., and Claude W. Rudy of 1271 Washburn; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Methodist Church at Soldier. Burial will be in the Soldier Cemetery.
