She was a Christian and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother.
Surviving are her son, David L. Abbott of Alum Creek; one daughter, Charlotte A. Early of Cross Lanes; five grandchildren, Danielle Thompson, Christina Hughes, Chasity Sigmon, Amanda Allen, Kenneth Abbott; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005, at the Curry Funeral Home in Alum Creek with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Orchard Hills Memory Gardens at Yawkey.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
