Carl Carson Allen, 80, of Sartell, Minn., formerly of Newton, died Thursday afternoon (Dec. 2, 1999) in Country Manor, Sartell.
Services in Crain Funeral Home, Newton. Burial in West Lawn Cemetery, Newton.
Mr. Allen was born in Warrensburg on Oct. 27, 1919, the son of Alva M. and Bessie Mae Clark Allen. He was a retired engineer in electronics, a veteran of World War II and Korean Conflict and a member of American Legion Post 20, Newton. He married Betty Virginia Sims on April 4, 1945. She preceded him in death in 1993.
Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Terry L. and Connie Allen of Sartell; brother, Don A. Allen of Decatur; two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and sisters, Dorothy Ann Bailey and Rosalie Irene Cunningham.
