STANHOPE, Iowa, June 16 - Mrs. Dyza Allen, 88, widely known resident of the Stanhope community, died this morning at her farm home near Stanhope, death being caused by a paralytic stroke. She died at 1:30 A.M. She had been in poor health for the past few years.
Funeral services have not been arranged.
Mrs. Allen is survived by one daughter, Miss Ada, who makes her home with her mother, and one son, Charles, of Stanhope. Her husband preceded her in death 25 years ago and one son died about 43 years ago.
Mrs. Allen had made her home in Hamilton county about 87 years. Her girlhood days were spent in the Bell's Mill community, moving to Stanhope about 45 years ago.
