Mrs. Mamie Sloop, Of Royal Center, Dies in Logansport
ROYAL CENTER — Mamie Sloop, 76, of Royal Center, died at Memorial hospital Monday evening following a lingering illness Born in Harrison township, Cass county on Jan. 10, 1885, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Isaac King. Her marriage was to Edward Sloop and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include two step-sons Edgar Sloop, of Royal Center and Roy Sloop, of rural route 6, Logansport and two sisters, Mrs Ira Nickels, of Detroit and Mrs Imo Davis, Logansport.
Funeral services will be hell at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Harrison Garden Chapel in Royal Center. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Wednesday.
