adopted by his mother's second
husband. Ora Ward. He was
married July 4. 1945, to Helen

A farmer, he was an army
veteran of World War II and was
a member of Crooked Creek
Christian Church and Bringhurst
Masonic Lodge No. 558.
Surviving with the wife are two
sons, Dennis of Frankfort and
Robert of Freeport, Bahamas;
and a brother, Joe Ward of
Delphi A son preceded him in
death.
