William P. Dyer, 68, of Canton, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Thursday May 27, 2004, at his home following an extended illness. Bill was born July 29, 1935 in Barnesville, Ohio.

He was an Air Force veteran having served his country for twenty years and retired as a Technical Sergeant (TSGT). He was an avid fisherman and especially enjoyed the time he spent working in his garage.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Dyer; a sister, Velma Burkhart; and brothers, Robert and James Dyer.
He is survived by his wife Jeanette (Tomas); mother, Bea (Miller) Dyer; son, Raymond Dyer; grandson, Logan Dyer; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Peggy Dyer of Santee, California; sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Vallas Carpenter of Barnesville, Connie and John Skinner of Barnesville and Peggy Carpenter of Barnesville; best friend Danny Richeson; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
